Precision Analog Photography
While leading the move to digital imaging, at Airborne we recognize that there are still many applications where analog aerial photography meshes better with our clients' existing technologies and data handling processes. Here too we offer the best possible solutions using world-standard technologies.
For analog photography we use Zeiss Jena LMK photogrammetric survey cameras equipped with forward motion compensation. Each twin-magazine camera has a 152 mm Lamegon PI 6" lens and real-time data projectors to record geographic position, time, and project data for every exposure. Our cameras are regularly calibrated to both Canadian and US Federal Government Standards at the National Research Council and the United States Geological Survey.
