Scanning/Plotting
- Vexcel 4000HT Photogrammetric Scanner to convert film images into raster files for softcopy photogrammetry and digital image processing. (Better than 1 micron geometric accuracy - equivalent to 1 cm on the ground in 1:10,000 scale photography.)
- Vexcel ULTRASCAN 5000 for additional capacity as well as 10 bit grayscale.
- Hewlett-Packard 7585B E-size pen plotter to plot flight indices from onboard GPS data using software developed by Airborne Sensing. This enables the photopoints to be registered on an existing paper map base, such as the National Topographic Series, at any scale. |
