- Wildlife studies (herd inventories) can combine identification, location and mensuration. Aquatic studies can precisely delineate coastal patterns and assess the position and health of vegetation.
- All aerial image data can be imported into, or used directly in, GIS environments with full georeferencing.
- Automated image classification allows the detection of similar surface objects or attributes - e.g., to determine the presence and precise location of an invasive plant species.
